Adobe Scan iOS app can now scan business cards to Contacts with 99% accuracy

Sharing contacts between phones doesn’t yet seem to have taken over from handing out business cards, but if you want to keep things paperless there are a number of apps that allow you to scan a card and save it to your contacts.

Most require some kind of manual edit, however, particularly when it comes to getting information into the correct fields – a problem Adobe claims to have solved with the latest version of its iOS Adobe Scan app …

Cryptocurrency startup TRON has acquired BitTorrent for $140M

Peer-to-peer trailblazer BitTorrent has purportedly sold its business to blockchain startup TRON for a fee of $140 million, TechCrunch reports.

The publication notes details are still being worked out and shareholders are yet to sign off on the deal definitively, but it is unlikely negotiations could fall through at this point. TechCrunch suggests the holdup has to do with a dispute over who made the introduction between TRON CEO Justin Sun and BitTorrent.

Ex-Google and Instagram employees have created a new company called “Dreams,” and they have one goal – to make vertical videos the standard for video and film. They’ve already received $5 million worth of investment and have done an immense amount of research on the topic to see if it was deemed profitable. The office of Dreams plays TV shows reformatted for vertical television, according to BusinessInsider. The company has a very strange sales model, but it might just work if their research is correct.
